Get Gone Head's to San Francisco's Another Hole in the Head Film Festival

Exciting news! Get Gone is headed to the Another Hole in the Head Film Festival  in San Francisco.  The festival run's from December 1st to December 15th 2019, at New People Cinema in San Francisco's Japantown. This is the 16th year of the highly rated festival. 

According to the festival's website "San Francisco is the second largest film market in the country and a great promotional platform for indie filmmakers who are trying to get their film out into the world." 

As well it says "Many films that screen at our festival spark the attention of other film festivals and film brokers/buyers. In addition, the films and the festival are reviewed by some of the top players in the industry, such as Variety, The San Francisco Chronicle, Dread Central, Bloody Disgusting, Twitch, and Way Too Indie, just to name a few."

The festival is organized by SP Indiefest which also does the SF Indie and DocFest, between them 21,000 people attended last year. 

The theater sounds nice, boasting cutting-edge HD digital projection, 35mm film projection and a THX®-certified sound system. According to the theater's website the theater "has become a unique must-see attraction of the city's cultural landscape" - New People It is located at 1746 Post Street, San Francisco, CA 94115 U.S.A. 

Sounds like it will be a great event! If your in the area you should attend.

Get Gone the Movie Heads to the Portland Film Fest

Get Gone was accepted into the Portland Film Festival also known as #PDXFF19. The festival runs from October 14-20th in Portland Oregon. Not only was it named as one of the "50 Film Festivals Worth the Entry Fee" on Moviemaker Magazine, but it is presented by Comcast NBC Universal. So this will be the biggest film festival yet. Get Gone has a prime slot showing the film on Saturday night October 19th at 7:30pm. This come's right on the heel's of Robert Miano winning Best Actor at the Seal Beach Film Festival. Get Gone also won Best Horror and Best Feature. You can check out the festival and get tickets here.

Portland Film Festival is a non-profit organization dedicated to nurturing filmmakers and audiences, and to celebrating the power of a good story. The festival focuses on the people, ideas, technology, skills and artistry behind filmmaking and provides both entertaining and educational opportunities to the public and filmmakers.

Rico Wins Aof Award

Congratulations to Rico E Anderson for his Win for BEST ACTOR

At the AOF Action on Film International Film Festival last night Rico E Anderson won the nomination for BEST SUPPORTING ACTOR in a feature!
Fellow co-star, Robert Miano also got nominated in the same category, Lin Shaye was nominated for Best Supporting Actress, Weston Cage Coppola got nominated for Best Villain and GET GONE under Writer / Director, Michael Thomas Daniel name got nominated for BEST HORROR FEATURE!! Congrats to the entire cast and crew!!
